Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains the information we collect, how we use and share it, how to manage your privacy controls and your rights in connection with our websites and the related mobile applications and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy was written entirely in English. When a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version takes precedence. Unless otherwise specified, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party products or services, or the practices of companies that we do not own or control, including other companies with whom you may interact on or through the Services.
Questions or comments about this Privacy Policy may be submitted by mail to the address below.
We may collect or request personal information from you on an ongoing basis, including (but not limited to) your username, gender, email address, password, IP address, unique device identifiers, and other identification credentials and biographical details.
Please keep in mind that we will collect information about your location and physical movements with your permission in order for the RUN TOGETHER App ("App") to function properly and monitor and verify forms of eligible movement. You can toggle location monitoring on and off using the settings of your mobile device's operating system; however, if you disable this functionality, we will be unable to collect information relating to your step-count and GPS/Cell-ID location, preventing tracking and/or conversion of your movement into rewards.
We may use your personal data to:
  • provide the services;
  • verify your physical movement and location and issue reward on the basis of this verified data;
  • analyse the usage of, and improve the Services;
  • communicate with you, including without limitation to inform you of updates to the App, Website, our Terms of Use and/or this Privacy Policy;
  • perform market and customer research;
  • market our services to you;
  • correct errors and problems with the Services;
  • investigate and/or prevent suspected fraud or other criminal activities;
  • create Marathon Leaderboards of players, comprising all players or players meeting particular criteria;
  • operate the Marketplace;
  • and/or investigate disputes between players.
As part of the normal operation of the Services, certain of your personal data may be shared with other App players. Furthermore, we may from time to time expand or withdraw our business, which may entail the transfer of certain divisions or assets of the Company to third parties, and the data we store and use, where applicable, may be transferred to such third parties.
Your personal information will be kept only for as long as is required. We take reasonable industry-standard precautions to keep all of our data secure and to prevent unauthorized access or use of it. All personal data we store and process is handled in strict accordance with data protection legislation.
We use cookies to distinguish you from other App and Website users and to collect information about your usage and behavior. A cookie is a small text file that we place on your computer when you use the App and Website. This enables us to provide you with a better experience when using the App or browsing the Website, as well as improve the Services. We will use both persistent cookies, which may remain on your device until they expire, and session cookies, which are temporary files that are removed from your device when you close your browser.
We may use the following types of cookies:
Analytical/Tracking Cookies, which enable us to recognize and count the number of visitors, analyze use of the Services, and verify transactions; and Advertising and Retargeting Cookies, which enable us to generate appropriate advertising directed to you on the Website and the App.
You have the right to request that your personal information not be used for marketing purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing (i.e. “opt out”) by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of our marketing emails or by emailing [email protected], with the subject ‘Unsubscribe’.

You have the right to delete your account.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Statement at any time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the App and Website, as well as emailed to you. Please review the Privacy Policy, which is available on the App and Website on a regular basis. In the event of such a change, you agree to the relevant change by continuing to use the App and Website.
